The company began in the 1980s, providing real estate information to brokers via print and CD-rom -- but they recognized early on that the web would be the perfect platform to grow their subscription model to serve thousands of property investors and brokers at a significantly lower cost. However, the Internet’s possibilities have brought continued threats from emerging start-ups. To maintain its leadership position, CoStar needed to develop a Web-centric marketing strategy that would stave off competitors and set the stage for the company’s next phase of unprecedented growth. In a few short months, Moving Minds created several innovative web marketing programs that set a new direction for CoStar and that continue to deliver impressive results.
